I'm not sure if using Tk-Glitch's Wine stopped the crashes, or if it's the fact that I have the experimental FAudio patch built into it. I then slowly re-added the overrides Proton put in place, and the above four made the game load past the loading screen. Lo and behold, it got stuck on the loading screen. DOS2 loads past the loading screen with this too, but wanting to get to the root of the problem, I removed all the overrides and started the game.
